I’ve spent my career in environments where things don’t slow down.

Where decisions matter.
Where complexity is constant.
And where structure isn’t optional—it’s what keeps everything moving.

I didn’t learn this in theory.

​

I grew up on a ranch, where hard work, grit, and responsibility weren’t ideas—they were expectations.

​

That carried into a corporate career spanning nearly 20 years across utilities and construction—industries where the pace is high, the stakes are real, and things don’t wait for perfect conditions.

​

Over time, I learned how to bring order to complexity.
How to build structure where there was none.
And how to make decisions in environments where there’s always more to manage than time allows.

At the same time, I was teaching.

​

Working with the next generation of leaders showed me something different—but equally important:

People don’t struggle because they aren’t capable.
They struggle because they’re carrying too much without a clear way to operate.

That’s the common thread.

I don’t believe in overcomplicating things.
